Product Details
+Today's offering showcases this classic and beautifully restored c. 1970 Omega Seamaster. Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 565 movement with twenty-four jewels (instead of the more common seventeen jewel versions) and quick-setting date.
It measures just under 35mm in diameter without the crown, about one millimeter smaller than a Rolex Datejust.
It is fully Omega down to the crown and even the crystal. It has been meticulously restored and presents on the wrist as mint condition. The dial is a perfect refinishing - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
As part of the restoration the movement has been freshly fully serviced, winds smoothly, and is running very true. It is very clean.
Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.
Note: Published examples of similar watches can be found in Marco Richon's work Omega: A Journey Through Time, 2007, pg. 403.
Photos of the inside available upon request.
